Added Latest Version after purchasing a Lifetime license and I can no longer use it

I purchased a license and installed the latest version that came in a ZIP file. Now I constantly get an error and cannot use the tool.


I had to download and use another snipit tool to copy the error.

Either fix this or refund my money.

Updated to version 4.236.
Same issue.

could be some file permission issue, have you already tried to restart macOS? Sometimes this will help for such issues.

If not, you can try to quit BTT and rename this folder/ ~/Library/Application Support/BetterTouchTool

Bettertouchtool will then create a fresh setup on next launch
