Hello boy！Recently, I found that the power consumption of the computer increased during sleep, so I checked the system log and found that the bettertouchtool woke up the system every two times in the early morning when the computer was sleeping. I could not solve this problem by turning off the wifi of the computer and sleeping. So how to turn off the function of bettertouchtool to wake up the system when the computer is sleeping?

It looks like bettertouchtool keeps failing and crashing！How can I solve this problem?
When I look BetterTouchTool menu under the menu bar icon, the second line says "BetterTouchTool is currently disabled (see below)". When I look below, I see no further info. What should I be looking for?
„Below“ there is the „enable BetterTouchTool for...“ menu item which allows you to enable BTT again (unless your trial is over or you haven’t activated a valid license for the installed BTT version )
Thanks. That worked. I guess when I saw "see below" I figured there was a place I should be looking for a more expansive explanation of the message.
But why might it have become disabled? It had been working and has a valid license.
The version on Setapp is 3.570 and is out of date, are there plans to update the version on Setapp?
it’s not out of date, it’s the current stable release.
There will be a new stable release together with the macOS Monterey release in about 2 weeks.

This is not possible unfortunately. macOS only allows to move/resize windows on currently active spaces

Even thoough I have had the licese for BTT for almost 10 years, only now do I have enough time to dig into this wonderful world of BTT! I am having some difficulties understanding the possible gestures I can use with the Magic Trackpad on a desk top. Sprecifically, I would like to use BTT to press the Modifier key 'fn' or command' while my thumb rests on the Magic Trackpad. So I can move around windows with my index finger while holding down a modifier with my thumb. Is this possible, and if yes, how would I do this? And, is there any resource where I can learn about all the different gestures possible on a Magic Trackpad?

What happened to the classic configuration? Now both menus: Configuration and New Configuration UI show the new Configuration UI. I like to use the old one... how can I get it back!?
the old UI has not been updated since 2018 and has been deprecated since 2019. It is gone now. If you want to use it you must use old versions of BTT (Index of /releases)
This is the last version with the old UI:

Is it possible to select files in Finder using a keyboard shortcut (for example Shift)? By select files, I mean I want to navigate through my directories pressing Shift on the files I want to add to my current selection.
You can add files to the selection in Finder this way by holding Command and then clicking the files with your mouse, but I'm looking for a keyboard only method of doing this.
You can also add files to the selection by holding Shift and using the arrow keys to select the adjacent files. The issue with this is that if there are three items and you select Item 1, there's no way to select Item 3 without also selecting Item 2.
