Hello
I configured 4 finger tap for CMD+W hotkey to quikly close tabs in Safari.
I use only built-in touchpad.
The problem is that only about 20-40% percent of my 4-finger taps are recognized.
I'm 100% sure that the problem is not with my fingers, because before I used "Multitouch" app for this and all my taps were always recognized.
Multitouch also have additional touchpad settings for better sensitivity, but I found nothing in BTT's advanced settings.
Pls fix it.
Thanks

Four fingers taps are one of the most used gestures in BTT, in general they work fine.
Did you disable all macOS gestures that could conflict?
I'd recommend to first try with assigning e.g. the "Show HUD" action to make sure it's not a problem with the action / Safari
Of course, everything that may conflict is disabled.
Just tried that. Same result except I see a popup messages when gesture is recognized. About 1 correct recognition per 6-8 4-finger taps.
Do you maybe have three finger dragging enabled in System Settings => Accessibility?
If three finger dragging is disabled, maybe post a short recording of BTT's live view - maybe I can see something weird:
You can also play a bit with these settings:
Or try to disable the thumb / accidental touch filtering:
Hi
Thanks for this advice. I didn't know BTT have special settings for trackpad. I'll try it and see if it helps
I tried your settings for trackpad and now it seems to work fine! Thanks!
