After installing 3985 all presets are gone.
Pulled the backup files and installed the presets - 1 month old and not actual =(
After that entering the config menu crashes the app and it restarts.
Some triggers are working when not entering config after restart but connecting the stream deck xl also crashes the app.

sounds like the update process went wrong for the alpha. Could you post the crash log from the macOS console app?
I might be able to restore your data if you send me the ~/Application Support/BetterTouchTool folder to andreas@folivora.ai (but it might already be too late after trying to restore from backup)

Could you export the preset that leads to the crash?
It looks like the Stream Deck renderer is crashing, but I don't know why.
(Or better go to Help => Export Diagnostic Debug Info)
The issue should be fixed in 3.,986!
If you want help with recovering your last data, I'd need the files from this folder: ~/Application Support/BetterTouchTool (go there via FInder => Go => Go to Folder, make sure to include the ~)
