I have configured a 3 finger klick gesture, that closes the current tab in google chrome.
When i do a 3 finger klick on the trackpad of my macbook, i do get the haptic feedback of a force click (a second "click" from the trackpad that feels like i'd have pressed the trackpad even stronger).
My expected behaviour is that there is only one single click.
Ah but it is possible your trackpad has not yet been added to the configuration in BTT as I didn't have the chance to look at a 14" 2023 Macbook Pro yet. This could explain why it feels weird. Would be great if you could go to Help => Export Diagnostic Debug Information and send the result to andreas@folivora.ai, then I'll get the latest trackpad identifiers
I updated to the latest alpha. It seems, that the issue regarding the 3 finger force click is gone (although it is quire hard to apply a 3 finger klick (compared to my magic trackpad or the trackpad of my former mbp, but it seems like this can be configured like displayed in your screenshot).
However: after a while (i do not know, if it has to do with time or clicks), 1 and 2 finger klicks are not working any more as expected.
When i point at sth. and do a 1 finger klick movement, the pointed element is selected in the meaning of like when i clicked at it - but i do not get any haptic feedback like i did in the past.
The same for 2 finger clicks. In this case, the 'right click' menu opens as expected, but i do not get any feedback.
I am unsure, if the click actions dont work at all - and what i actully execute are 'tap' actions. Or if the click actions work and only the haptic feedback is missing.
Shall i open a new ticket for that issue? Is there anything, i can provide you in order to give you more information?
