1- what is the keyboard shortcut to access the search field at the bottom?. I could not find neither "Find" nor "Search" in the menu. I even tried to create a BTT gesture to put my cursor in the search field, using the magnifying glass as a search image but it did not work.
2- I very often re-arrange triggers, moving them up and down the main trigger list. Since the list is long, I often bungle and end up moving them to the wrong place. Is there a more efficient way to move triggers up and down ?
thank you very much for taking the time to create a video. If I select a trigger and tap the arrow key , BTT just selects to trigger above / below. I tried pressing modifier keys but the problem is the same. What do you do so that arrow moves the trigger ?
Ah, right, I didn't explain that properly Probably because I want to say, “Forget it.” Theoretically, it works, but it's practically useless.
I don't know if this is a macOS or a BTT issue. When a left-click is active, no shortcuts can be executed. You can move the cursor with the mouse, but not with the keyboard.
If that was possible, you could do some cool stuff. In this specific case, for example:
Cmd + Opt (held down) moves the mouse to the selected trigger and holds a left-click (that’s the easy part).
Now you need to be able to use the arrow keys to move the trigger up or down. Or hold down the arrow key to move the trigger continuously. When you release the modifier keys, the left click is released and the trigger has been moved.
However, this doesn’t work for the reasons mentioned above. What you see in the video is just a poor imitation. Feel free to try it out for yourself. The shortcuts are FN + arrow Up/Down.
