"2 Finger Swipe From ... Edge" -> high CPU usage when scrolling

Describe the Bug
When a "2 Finger Swipe from ...Edge " gesture is configured, the CPU usage is very high (around 35%) when scrolling with two fingers normally in any application. This happens also when the gesture is disabled. From preliminary testing it seems even more so.

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):
MacBook Trackpad

Screenshots
( I have been scrolling continuously for about 5 seconds up and down in Firefox when the screenshot was taken. This happens also in all the other apps I have tested)

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: MacBook 13" 2017 Two Thunderbolt Ports
  • macOS version: 10.15.6
  • BetterTouchTool version: 3.401

This is of no pressing concern for me since I do not use that gesture anymore but I had it configured and disabled and noticed the high CPU usage. I have since deleted the gesture and CPU usage is normal (~3-5%). Maybe this helps someone.
