I cannot find the video for a new user that has NEVER created a script with this tool before. I created a script that moves to a location and does a left mouse click. But can find no way to use the script. All the videos and help topics I have found use lots of terms that are not defined nor explained.
how would you like to use the script?
I created a Touch Bar script, but have no clue how to execute it
I also tried adding a keyboard shortcut, but could not get it to work
maybe post some details or screenshots of what you have configured.
This is an example for a touch bar button that moves the mouse and does a left click. The action sequence is execute when you press the button on your touch bar.
There is no menu item for showing the Touch Bar items. I added an icon, but can't see it anywhere either. Is there not a tutorial for creating a first script except for using trackpad gestures?

However I think I don’t fully understand the issue you encounter. You do have a Macbook with a Touch Bar, correct? You want the button to show up on the bar but it does not?
I thought touchbar was a bettrtouch feature. I don't know what/where a touchbar is on my Mac
The bar where I access my tools is on the right, there is not an icon in that bar. Since I can't use touchbar or command shortcuts, is gestures on the trackpad the only option. I do too much scripting, and I use gestures already.

now it is working, but the mouse position keeps changing even though I am using absolute reference. I started with a click in the middle of the screen, and it keeps moving lower, MUCH lower
position of the mouse and click only seems to work if the application window is less than half the size of the screen. What is wrong with my settings? I really want it to work relative, but it never does

I really want information on where to find the tutorials for a 1st time user. I'm happy to create sample scripts that don't use the touchpad (which is frequently covered since I use a separate keyboard and mouse
the best place to look for instructions is this forum or the docs, however there are also tons of tutorials on youtube. It usually doesn't matter for what kind of trigger type the tutorial is, the setup works mostly the same for all of them.
Did you choose the "Global position" as anchor for the mouse movement? This example would move the mouse 200 pixels down from the top left and 100 pixels to the right from the top left corner
yes that is what I did. I have a disability, I do not use YouTube - to many flashes embedded in the advertisements. I'm looking for text tutorials. I am currently in the tutorials looking for how looping works. I searched for loop, but the only listing isn't relevant. I can't find information on how to end the loop. Is there a manual anywhere?
