I was using Jitouch for many years now. It was working for me with Catalina but probably no longer with Big Sur.
Tried BatterTouchTool once but couldn't 'fit in' very well. Was missing the features I did with Jitouch.
You can call me probably a 'power user', I do teak my system as good as possible .
Right now I am a bit stuck with BTT but hopefully find soon some pleasant answers in this community. Maybe I will be able to shares some helpful experiences of my own with you guys…
