Worked fine for 1Yr+ - Now keeps quitting

Hi - I've been using BTT for more than 1 year without any issues. Outstanding app.
However since about 1 week, the app is very unstable and keeps quitting after roughtly 15 seconds, sometimes 30 seconds.

I've tried:

  • Latest version (alpha
  • Rebooting
  • Uninstall and reinstall
  • Disabling all triggers

I'm running version 3.616 1765 it on a MacBook Air M1 8Gb Ram - MacOs 12.0 beta

Note: Before bug reporting, please make sure you have tried the latest (alpha) version of BetterTouchTool and that you have already tried to restart your system :-). If you encounter a crash, please attach a crash log from the macOS Console.app from the "User Diagnostic Reports" section.

Additional information (e.g. StackTraces, related issues, screenshots, workarounds, etc.):

BTT only supports the final version of monterey, the betas did have various bugs. Upgrade to 12.0.1 final and it should work again.

I am having the same problem on high sierra; how far back are you testing?

I have been installing software updates ; however, if you don't continue to work on the older (frankly more stable) operating systems, let me know which version I can downgrade to.

On monterey I'm not seeing quitting. Instead, BTT just jumps to the front temporarily stealing focus until I dismiss it.
