I've been a fan and customer of your products for well over a decade now, bettersnap and better touch tool, are essential to my mac OS workflows.
I've been wondering, with your skills and experience with controlling MacOS, would you consider making a touch tool like app (or expanding its feature set) to better utilise touch screens?
The landscape there is pretty barren
There's an unaffordable option that's been around forever, with luke warm reviews and I tried a free one, but it didn't work for me.
As part of the trouble shooting process, I tried disabling Better Touch Tool, and that's what got me thinking.... Touch Tool... Touch Screen... what if the Touch Tool guy could do something with this?
Some software, like lighting software that's used a lot in events, is really built around touch screen use. I jump between windows and mac depending on what I'm doing, but this is regarded as a shortcoming in the mac ecosystem by those in that field.
I'm also having issues with my macbooks internal screen, so for the moment, I'm having to carry around a 16" portable touch screen monitor, in order to use it.. but if you do touch it, well, back in the day, I think it used to do nothing, but now it kinda acts as a mouse pointer, but the experience isn't fantastic.
It could be great to have a few intuitive gestures, either inspired by phones, ipads, or touch screen support on windows
Fingers crossed they opt to allow support for external screens too!
(or if they don't, hopefully it's something that can be added by 3rd party developers? wink wink nudge nudge :P)
Sweet, look forward to seeing what they do with it!
Thanks for the replies <3
