Why Is My BetterTouchTool Folder Over 6GB? What Are These Large Files in .BTTClipboardManager_SUPPORT?

Hello BetterTouchTool community,

My BetterTouchTool folder has become quite large — over 6GB.
When I looked deeper into it, I found several very large files located at:

/Users/myname/Library/Application/Support/BetterTouchTool/.BTTClipboardManager_SUPPORT/_EXTERNAL_DATA

Here is an attached screenshot for reference.

Could someone explain what these files are and what they are used for?
Is it safe to delete them to free up storage on my Mac?

These are BTT's clipboard manager database files. If you have configured the clipboard manager, it will keep a history of your clipboard for the configured amount of time. These can be big if you had copied big files etc.

One more question, can I delete all of them? In case I don’t care old clipboards.
