Why does BTT touch bar get hidden from time to time?

I have "Show macOS Control Strip" enabled and my custom BTT touch bar to show only when I press the "fn" key.

However, from time to time, the BTT touch bar gets hidden and I have to unhide it again by click the option in the menu bar icon, which gets really annoying.

Why does BTT touch bar get hidden from time to time? And how do I configure it so it never gets hidden?

You use a preset or something? Some contain triggers to switch to the normal Touch Bar.

Not at all. The preset I'm using is one I've created for myself:

I have the same issue. It even happens several times of a day, after I wake my MacBook from sleep

try adding a little Touch Bar initializiation delay in the advanced Touch Bar settings in BTT, this does help on many systems.

Thanks for the quick reply! Is there a way to just force BTT over macOS control strip for every app?
