Hi, I’m trying to use BetterTouchTool to control my Samsung TV volume only when the TV is the current macOS audio output.

I have two media-key triggers:

- **Volume Up** → condition: `audio_output_device == "QCQ90"` → runs a terminal command for `samsung_volume_up`
- **Volume Down** → condition: `audio_output_device == "QCQ90"` → runs a terminal command for `samsung_volume_down`

This part works, but I have two issues:

1. When the condition is **not** true, I want the original macOS Volume Up/Down key to pass through normally.
2. With the current setup, a single press sometimes seems to trigger the action multiple times.

What is the recommended BTT setup for this? Ideally I want:

- `QCQ90` active → one key press = exactly one custom command
- any other audio output → normal macOS volume behavior
- no recursion or repeated triggers

Is there a specific pass-through / repeat setting I should use for media keys?

I don't know if this will help in your specific case. So I'm just guessing. Have you tried to set up this

This is while pressing, I meant that it happens with only one press.

there was a bug with the "if advanced conditions fail, let the shortcut pass through" option related to media keys.

This should be resolved in 6.832 (uploading now)
