Useless BTT button shows up in touchbar

I have a problem where a button with the BTT logo shows up at the right side of the touchbar that's always visible.

Nothing happens when I press the button. Is there a way to make it go away?

In BTT, click the TouchBar menu. Top right, General TouchBar settings.

If you're not using BTT for anything on the TouchBar, just turn it off.

Uncheck "Enable Touch Bar Support..." at the top.

If you are, you can just uncheck the next option - "Show macOS Control Strip" or uncheck "Show BetterTouchTool Icon in Control Strip" box below that.

All depends on what you're using it for.

Also, I've found that for most of the changes to appear, you'll need to restart BTT.
