Is it possible for each device to operate independently, even if they are the same model and type?
I use the MacBook’s built-in trackpad and a Magic Trackpad 2 at the same time (one for macros), but I have to set things up beforehand so that a specific function is executed only by a particular device. It would be easier if they were separate. However, I can’t do this if I’m using an iMac with two Magic Trackpads of the same model, such as two Magic Trackpad 3. The same applies to Apple keyboards.
I remember an old game on the Mac where users could use two mice simultaneously for Player 1 and Player 2, just like controllers, so the OS recognized these mice as independent devices. I’ve included a link to the video. It would be very helpful if this were possible.
