Troubleshooting USB device causing issues

I'm often getting a dialog from BetterTouchTool which indicates I may have a USB device problem but I'm while BetterTouchTool notifies me it doesn't indicate which device. Is there any way to get this information from BetterTouchTool? If not is there any good way to debug this in macOS?

"USB Device Constantly Disconnecting. One of your connected USB devices seems to be disconnecting constantly. This can lead to issues in BTT.

not right now, usually it's some device that doesn't get enough power.

You can disable the message by running this terminal command while BTT is quit:

defaults write com.hegenberg.BetterTouchTool BTTDontShowConnectWarning YES

However if this keeps happening constantly, BTT will be forced to refresh constantly which causes all sort of weird issues. That's why I'm showing the message.

yeah I think the warning is good but i have so many USB devices that debugging which one is the problematic one is not something I look forward to.
