Trigger text selection did change activates during a drag

Note:
Before bug reporting, please make sure you have tried the latest (alpha) version of BetterTouchTool and that you have already tried to restart your system :-). If you encounter a crash, please attach a crash log from the macOS Console.app's "Crash Reports" section.

Describe the bug
Often, when resizing windows or scrolling using scroll bars, for example on websites like Facebook, the trigger "text selection did change" gets activated. This happens not when the text is selected, but simply during dragging things on the screen. I use a preset from the BTT Docs, which has no modified activation, only appearance changes. In the screenshots section, I attached how the variables look when scrolling through Facebook comments using the scroll bar.

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: MacBook Pro
  • macOS version: Tahoe 26.3.1 (a) (25D771280a)
  • BetterTouchTool version: 6.485 (2026050512)

Additional information (e.g. crash logs, related issues, etc.):

Can you check whether this still happens with 6.486 (uploading now)?

I can't reproduce it here, but it might also be related to the accessibility keyboard. I made a change related to the AXGroup / AXApplicationGroup properties shown in your screenshot.

I click to check for the alpha update, but it shows me that I have the latest version.

takes around 10 minutes

After checking a few basic pages and elements, I see that it is okay, so I think the problem can be considered resolved.
Thank you very much for the quick response and help!

And by the way, maybe it's worth adding a question to the bug report template asking if you have any accessibility features enabled?
