Toggle BetterTouchTool button disappears after toggling it off

Describe the bug
The BTT icon on the touchbar disappears so now I cannot bring back the touchbar. I can toggle it off but can't toggle it back on since the BTT icon button disappears.

^ Used to have the BTT icon next to the arrow but it disappears now.

did you maybe hide it in the general touchbar settings?

In general it's a good idea to assign the toggle action to a keyboard shortcut, so you can easily show/hide it.

Nope did not. I have set the date/time icon to toggle on off the touchbar and in the past it was always working. Not sure if the new update caused some bugs.
