tiptap almost doesn't work for my m4 pro macbook pro

Device: M4 pro Macbook Pro
OS: 15.1.1
Affected input device: MacBook Trackpad

Hi, I’m a new user of BetterTouchTool (BTT). Yesterday, I downloaded and tried out the software. I created two simple workflows, both of which send system hotkeys. These hotkeys are defined in Alfred to trigger some other software.

I used 2 fingers tiptap and 3 fingers tiptap gestures. At first, the 2 fingers tiptap gesture was very difficult to trigger, with a success rate of less than 40%. The 3 fingers tiptap worked a bit better, with about an 80% success rate. However, after a few hours, the 3 fingers gesture also became very difficult to trigger, and the 2 fingers gesture was almost impossible to trigger. Since it was late, I decided to leave it and went to bed.

This morning, I Googled the issue. First, I used the command tccutil reset All com.hegenberg.BetterTouchTool to reset permissions, but it didn’t help. Today, BTT had an update, so I installed the new version, but the problem still persisted. Restarting the computer also didn’t solve it. I have recorded a video in Live View to demonstrate the issue and hope to get some help. I’ve already disabled the system's 3 finger drag feature, but it didn’t help. The software uses the default settings, any help? thanks!

the problem shown in your live view recording is that the tap needs to be shorter. Have a look at this:

OMG, now it works like a charm... Thank you! can I define this tap threshold? in the settings page does "TipTP sensitivity" affect this behavior?

I think the max. touch time is currently not exposed as a configurable parameter, but I should probably add that!

OK, thanks, now at least I can move forward, love this software.
