There are multiple requests for different variants of more snapping variants. I do understand that much of this can be achieved by "user customizable snap areas".
I'm still voting for adding a preference where users can choose "default division": if they prefer 2x2 (current default) or 3x3 (maybe even (4x4)) as a default.
This would be a clean and (presumably) simple solution for those huge displays, either vertically or horizontally. Thanks.
