Describe the bug
I opened the detached dialog window to edit an Apple Script, I then I re-clicked the detach button thinking it will close the window, but nothing happened. I closed the editor's window but the Preferences window wouldn't accept mouse or track-pad input.
I had to kill the application using the Force Quit Application dialog (CMD+SHIFT+ESC) and launch it again.
