Tapback missing?

Maybe I am missing something here, but I don't see a way to add tapback as an option to BTT? It disappeared once I installed the app.

I'm not sure whether I understand, how is BTT related to that? (sorry if it's obvious, I'm not a regular iMessage user)

Andreas, these reactions are the "tapback options". They appear on the native touch bar when a message is selected. Is there any way we could incorporate them into BTT?

Unfortunately BTT can not modify the default system Touch Bar.
You could however disable the BTT Touch Bar for the Messages app.

I understand - i think a better solution if possible is to keep the BTT touchbar but make custom widget for iMessage that supports tapback. The widget would include the 5 tapback reaction buttons and only show when iMessage is open. Do you think theres a way to write apple scripts to execute “tapback reactions”?
