# Switching Between Windows

Which action corresponds to switching between active windows in sequential order? I've tried several and can't seem to find the right one. I'm assuming this is a basic action BTT is capable of but that I'm missing the titling of the action.

Have you tried BTTs "Window Switcher"?

@Volker -- I don't see a "Window Switcher" proper option. I see some related options, but nothing as simple and explicit as your suggestion. "Show Window Switcher for All Open Apps" is close, but it's not as simple and direct as allowing the user to cycle thru open apps -- cycling between which app is considered active and input ready.

what are you missing about the window switcher action? I don’t think it will get more explicit than that one :-/

I figured it out. There are some advanced settings that can be used to get a more visual and kinesthetic functionality out of this process -- with a blue border around the active window which seems to hop in place.
