Trying out BetterTouchTool to maybe replace other mice drivers like BetterMouse, MacMouseFix and Logi Options+. It's certainly overkill just for that, but I may grow into it.
However, after downloading the Logi MX preset and playing with it for 20 minutes, I still can't it getting working properly. When holding down the thumb button and dragging to switch between spaces, the direction is reversed with seemingly no way of changing it. It also gets stuck at the end until I let go, completely ruining the experience.
Any idea if direction can be configured and what makes spaces get stuck ~80% into the transition before button release?
Which macOS and BTT version are you running?
I just checked again but the space switch is working fine here. Dragging right goes to the right space, dragging left to the left space. Example config:

In that case you'd need to set this value to negative (for both directions), this will inverse it:
