# snap tool stopped creating custom area

A custom snap that i've had for years (one which expanded my window fully across both my monitors) suddenly stopped working on my mac today. Running Tahoe 26.6. Will not allow me to create any new custom snap area either.

can you try to toggle the screen recording permissions in system settings =\> privacy & security off & on again?
