# Shortcut + long press

Google Chrome has a nice feature to quit Chrome (cmd + q). The buttons have to be pressed long.Would be great if you could turn on such a function in the shortcuts in BTT.

Why not using apple script?

```

end tell
```

I mean something different. I want to have the opportunity to use **"long-press-function"** for every shortcut. for example: _cmd+alt+ctrl+s = open safari_ and _cmd+alt+ctrl+s **(long press (maybe 3 sec))** = open new tab._

Yeah, that would be fantastic. Especially to have long press cmd+q for all apps

I made a preset "Hold Command+Q to Quit". It's a little unstable, but please use it if you like.

Thank you. It's a good idea to do this. But BTT should still contain this function by default
