Severe keyboard and touchpad lag

Severe keyboard and touchpad lagging when using BTT. Scrolling the webpage stops for about 0,5 seconds and then continues. Keyboard input lags also about 0,5 seconds. Disabling BTT symptoms disappear and comes back when restarting BTT again. Happens all the time.
Computer unusable with BTT.

  • Type of Mac: MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018)
  • macOS version: 10.15 Catalina
  • BetterTouchTool version: 3.202(1378)

Process PriorityHelper Tool installed (and udated). No effect.

do you have experimental dropbox sync enabled in BTT? I think this has caused similar issues for some users in the past.

I fact, Sync was enabled. Now disabled and everything looks good. No more lagging or stuttering.

possibly try icloud sync instead, maybe it works better than dropbox. I’m still not sure what exactly is causing the issue (high cpu usage with sync enabled ) but i’m investigating.
