Setapp license won't stay working

Hello!

I've been using Setapp license for couple of years now without problem but now for the past few months I have been having this annoying problem with the license. When I start BTT it works okay for about 15-20 minutes and after that it tells me that the trial has ended. How can I get my Setapp license working? I've reinstalled BTT multiple times during the past few months (from setapp) and keep still running into this error. When I look at the about section of the app it says "This copy of BetterTouchTool is licensed to:" but nothing else

did you have a non-setapp version installed before?

No I did not

Unfortunately (or better fortunately) I haven't had any other similar report. I would recommend to uninstall and reinstall the app. This can only happen if the system tells BetterTouchTool that its code signature has been broken.

Can you maybe think of any other app (e.g. some broken Anti Virus app) that could try to modify BTT? Is your system in standard state or are you using any deep system level modifications? (so no disabled System Integrity Protection - if you don't know what that is don't worry about it)

I've tired to reinstall the app but that did not help. I do not think I have any app that should interfere with BTT files and my System Integrity Protection is enabled.

Very weird, could you send me the logs saved in ~/Library/Application Support/BetterTouchTool/Logs ? (go there via Finder => Go => Go to Folder, make sure to include the ~). Maybe they contain anything useful.

I had the same issue, but without any action from my end it started working again. It happened on 02.05.25 or 03.05.25, luckily I did not had to use my MAC for 3 days and when I was back it was working again (MAC was powered off for 3 days). I guess something on the Setapp end?
