Serial connection from Loupedeck grabbed after USB hub reset, even if no actions are defined

Describe the bug
I have a Loupedeck Live which I'd like to use with the original software, not with BTT. (I use BTT for a lot of other things and love it :)).

Now for a few weeks, I've noticed the following: if the original Loupedeck software is started before BTT, everything works as expected. But if the device is unplugged and replugged in, sometimes (and more often in recent weeks) BTT is quicker in grabbing the USB serial connection to the device and Loupedeck can't connect to it because the device is already blocked by BTT (or at least it doesn't answer the HTTP-over-USBModem handshake).

This happens, even if no action has been configured to trigger on LoupeDeck. It would be fantastic if there were a way to disable this functionality in the Settings or so. Right now, I need to quit BTT and restart it whenever this happens ... which is a bit annoying :slight_smile:

Thank you very much in advance for looking into this!

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):

Loupedeck

This is what LogiPluginService (for Loupedeck) outputs in this case, if started with debugging enabled:

Only happens, when BTT keeps the device open:**
ingorammer@IngosMBP ~ % sudo lsof | grep -i usbmodem
BetterTou 47080 ingorammer 10u CHR 9,5 0t432 1223 /dev/cu.usbmodem11232301

And to add more information: I've tried disabling all StreamDeck support and also explicitly removed the Loupedeck device from the MIDI list, with the same outcome:

ingorammer@IngosMBP ~ % defaults read com.hegenberg.BetterTouchTool | grep -i -E "macropad|loupedeck|streamdeck"
"BTTAutoConnectMIDI_Loupedeck Live" = 0;
"com.loupedeck.LoupeDiagMac" = {
BTTStreamDeckEnabled = 0;
BTTStreamDeckFullControl = 0;
BTTStreamDeckPlugin = 1;

Thanks for reporting should be resolved in 6.829! (uploading now)

Now, that was quick! Thank you very much ... it works perfectly now! :slight_smile:
