my goal is to have one touchbar grouping for all applications, but in VLC, to have only my two sliders.
If I create a VLC grouping, and check "hide global actions if app specific actions are configured in BTT", this makes the system default grouping show in VLC. Checking "hide BTT touchbar if nothing to show" doesn't change the behavior, nor does creating actions or widgets in the VLC grouping.
This seems like a bug, but perhaps I have misunderstood the settings.
I'm using current BTT 2.717 and macOS 10.14.3
