Screenshot Editor: Cmd+C doesn’t work with Ukrainian keyboard layout

BTT 6.888, macOS 27.

In the new Screenshot Editor, Cmd+C correctly copies the edited screenshot to the clipboard when the English keyboard layout is active.

With the Ukrainian keyboard layout active, pressing the exact same physical Cmd+C shortcut only produces the error sound and nothing is copied.

Switching back to English immediately makes Cmd+C work again.

This started after updating to the new Screenshot Editor. I also tested the current 6.888 alpha and the issue is still reproducible there.

It looks like the editor’s Copy shortcut might be matching the produced character (“c”) instead of the physical key / layout-independent shortcut.

Can you check whether it works for you with 6.889 alpha (uploading now)

Confirmed! Works perfectly in 6.889 alpha.

I actually copied a screenshot while using the Ukrainian layout without even noticing, which is probably the best possible confirmation :slight_smile:
