Run Named Trigger After Searching

Hallo,

I have some trouble to get the "Find Image on screen" action working,
somehow the "Run Named Trigger After Searching" are not triggered at all.
(those are simple HUDs to display the text Found/Not found….).

I would assume that at least one of the two (found or not found) would be triggered ?

This works:
"If checked the found position will be saved to the variable image_location…"
and I can see that the Mouse is moved to the found image…

What is strange that the dropdown boxes (see screen 2) contain a lot of 'older'
Named Triggers which might causing the failure to trigger ?

I just checked but it seems to work fine here. What actions do you have assigned to the found & not found named triggers?

Hallo,

What about that the dropdown boxes that contain a lot of 'older'
Named Triggers ... multiples 'play state' triggers ? Is that list not refreshed?

The list is always refreshed, are these old triggers maybe in a different preset that is currently not displayed?

I double checked all presets, but I can not find issues and not those 'double' entries.

Is there a way to cleanup / reset my BTT setup to give it a 'fresh' start
(i.e. save all my presets and then do a cleanup or reinstall of BTT of some sort,
and then reload the presets...).

would you be able to export your current preset and send it to me (andreas@folivora.ai), would be interesting to see whether there is something wrong with the preset - if not the database might be corrupted.

Have you used the experimental Dropbox sync in BTT before?

You can export your preset, then quit BTT, rename this folder: ~/Library/Application Support/BetterTouchTool to something else, and afterwards start BTT and import your preset again. This would basically be a completely fresh installation then.

small update...

I selected other triggers in combinations to debug/check...

"Open Spotify" works/triggers when defined in "Found" or in "Did not found"
"Open Calendar" does not work/trigger at all, not in "Found" and not in "Did not found"

"Find Image on screen" does work as such, but not with some triggers in the dropdown box...
