Hi. I'm having trouble configuring my mouse scroll direction. I use two mice (a Logitech MX Master 3S at home and a Trust Seron at work, both connected via Bluetooth), as well as the built-in trackpad when I'm travelling. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get the settings consistent so that scrolling is natural on the trackpad but conventional on both mice.

My system is set to natural scrolling by default. In BTT, I have the "Inverse scrolling for normal mice only" option enabled. With this setup, scrolling works correctly on the trackpad and the Logitech, but the vertical scrolling direction is reversed on the Trust.

However, if I create a "Scroll Modifier: Reverse Scroll Direction" action and enable both "Reverse Vertical Scrolling" and "Only Apply To Regular Mice", it works correctly on the trackpad and the Trust, but the Logitech's scrolling direction is reversed instead.

I thought I might be able to use an Advanced Condition, which has an option called "currently\_connected\_mice". However, it doesn't seem to do anything. I can't see any value associated with it, and I'm not even sure whether it's a boolean or whether I should enter the specific mouse name. In any case, I can't get it to work.

The mouse (the Trust) is identified by the system as Seron 1:

- Address: D7:54:68:F3:FA:89
- Vendor ID: 0x32C2
- Product ID: 0x0012

Is there a way to configure the condition so that it applies to one specific mouse? And why do two "regular mice" behave differently? Could it be because BTT handles the Logitech differently?

did you disable the "Inverse scrolling for normal mice only" option before adding the scroll modifiers? (I think having both could lead to weird conflicts)

No, that remained enabled. But if I turn it off and leave the modifier active, Trust uses natural scrolling while Logitech uses the normal direction. Basically, the two mice behave in opposite ways regardless of the settings. That’s why I thought I might be able to work around it somehow using a condition.

Logitech mice also have a hardware level wheel reversing option, is that maybe enabled?

Ah, I hadn’t noticed that. I don’t have it ticked, so I’m not sure how it behaves when enabled. Unfortunately, I won’t be back with my mouse at home for another two weeks, so I won’t be able to test it until then. But thanks for the tip. If I can add a setting specifically for Logitech, that will probably solve my problem too.

Let's see! I just tried to reproduce the issue here with a logitech and a non-logitech mouse but have been unable to so far (both keep scrolling the same direction).
