Quitting player with now playing widget active crashes BTT

Describe the bug
If the now playing widget is active in the touch bar, quitting the last active player will crash BTT. For instance if I only have spotify active and quit spotify, BTT will crash. Sometimes the entire app will crash and show the "BetterTouchTool quit unexpectedly" dialog, but sometimes the system touch bar will just show for around 10 seconds before BTT recovers.

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):
Touch bar

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: MacBook Pro, 13-Inch, 2018
  • macOS version: 10.13.6
  • BetterTouchTool version: 2.625

Additional information (e.g. StackTraces, related issues, screenshots, workarounds, etc.):
This is the crash dialog I see:

Crash file from console:
BetterTouchTool_2018-09-02-105421_Tiny-MacBook.crash (75.2 KB)

Note: Before bug reporting, please make sure you have the latest version of BetterTouchTool and that you have already tried to restart your system :-). If you encounter a crash, please attach a crash log from the macOS Console.app from the "User Diagnostic Reports" section.

Ahh, thanks for reporting!

Ah good to see that I'm not alone, and that it will be fixed in the next release. Having the same issue.

The problem is still happening in v2.626

ah sorry, the widget requires 10.13. I forgot to hide it when using 10.12.
