# Please make toolbar icons bigger

Hello! In BTT 6.760, the toolbar icons that differentiate type of shortcuts (keyboard, trackpad, etc.) are difficult to see. They are very small and similar in shape.

Would it be possible to make these bigger or more visually distinct? or add text underneath?

sorry, I don’t have plans to make these bigger, their functionality is also replicated by the popup button above them. They are just supposed to be a quick visual indicator.

Ah! I see that the dropdown menu on top also has the icons.

In that case -- since the icon and text is duplicated -- it may be worth considering dropping the horizontal row of icons and just relying on the dropdown menu. Doing so would keep the UI more streamlined. (Just my 2¢, so obviously ignore if you feel strongly otherwise.)

You can hide it by disabling this option:
