trying to pin a chrome chrome window that is playing a youtube video. It works for a few seconds but when I click other windows the video quickly turns to this...?
unfortunately this is a DRM limitation due to the way how pinning works (it basically captures & streams a copy of the window to the top).
If a youtube video is DRM protected, capturing it is not possible, thus pinning fails. There is no way to workaround this.
Does you happen to know of another application I could use for pinning windows on a mac?
They all work the same way and will face the same issue. Only if you are willing to disable SIP (not recommended) and inject code into the Dock process, there are apps like Yabai that can do it better.
