Paste as text occurs in wrong app window

This is an odd one:

  1. I have 2 windows of DayOne app.
  2. I copy some text in the first and switch to the second window.
  3. I trigger "Paste as text" using a shortcut.
  4. The first window is activated back and pasting occurs into that window rather than the actual active window

This is on macOS 12.3.1, BTT 3.756.

(I could speculate what's going on, but I'm sure Andreas has better chances to find the real issue).

Hoping to bring this up to the top as I have reproduced it again this time between 2 Mimestream windows.

What do your clipboard manager settings look like?

Identical with those in your screenshot (I wasn’t even aware of this settings panel)

The shortcut you use to trigger the paste, are you using the predefined action "paste specific items from clipboard manager" to do this, or are you just opening the clipboard manager and then triggering the default shortcut?

The predefined “Paste specific items” action. It’s configured with position 1 and Paste as Plain text

Could you check whether this is resolved in BTT 3.762 alpha? (will be available via "check for alpha version updates" in about 10 minutes.)
