I want to add a button to BTT, that when pressed will find all my smart lights and then open a group with a button for each light.
Does anyone know how I can do that?

This si gonna be complicated. Apple Home does not support Apple Script, so you can't use this way to communicate with your lights.
A partially satisfying option would be to turn your Siri settings to "Type to Siri", and then evoke Siri via an action, and add "Paste Text" commands with the desired orders. It works like a charm for me, but it's not dynamic at all.
well, I can make a single button that calls out to bash, so I imagine if it were possible to switch the touchbar to a new group, the buttons in there could do that.
But you're saying that isn't possible?
