'Now Playing' widget interferes with Keynote (and Youtube)

Note: Before bug reporting, please make sure you have tried the latest (alpha) version of BetterTouchTool and that you have already tried to restart your system :-). If you encounter a crash, please attach a crash log from the macOS Console.app from the "User Diagnostic Reports" section.

Describe the bug
If have music coming through iTunes but am working on Keynote (standard editing view), the Now Playing widget (which shows the current track) appears to interpret Keynote as the 'play', even though it is (correctly) displaying the 'play' as the music. As a result if I pause the song by touching the song name, instead of pausing it, it will launch the 'Play slideshow'.

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.): Touch Bar
