Not showing update, or wrong update pushed

Describe the bug
In BTT "Search for Updates", you will see a new version 2.846 announced, but the update itself is still the 2.8.14
The same issue happens in the Alpha channel, where 2.846 is announced but you can only download 2.7xx

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):
BTT itself when trying to update

On a MacBook Pro 16" Touchbar.

sorry, haven't added release notes for the many small updates because they only affect the new UI which is not yet rolled out to all users. Public rollout should be this weekend.
