# 'No-animation' Space Switching Action, not working correctly on macOS 27.0.1

The action is triggered using a 4-finger Swipe Right/Left gesture on the MacBook Trackpad.  
The action triggers 'successfully' but the Space will attempt to move with an animation, and then snap back.

My findings so far:

- “Move Left a Space (Without Animation)” consistently switches Desktop 2 → Desktop 3 and vice versa.

- Swapping the left/right no-animation actions makes both directions work from Desktop 2, but only from Desktop 2.

- Attempting to move from Desktop 3 → 2 using swipe left, as well as from Desktop 1 → 2 using swipe right briefly animate a move, then snap back.

- The regular animated left and right switching actions work correctly

- “Displays have separate Spaces” is enabled.

- macOS “Swipe between full-screen applications” is off.

- The issue occurs both with and without an external monitor

**Device information:**

- Type of Mac: MacBook Pro M1

- macOS version: 27.0.1

- BetterTouchTool version: 6.954

There have been a few users with issues with space switching, but it seems to work fine for most (including me). Unfortunately I don't know why it is not working for some users.

Does it work with keyboard shortcuts instead of gestures?
