I am aware that such questions do not lead anywhere. Still, sometimes I'd like to understand why workarounds are needed doing the same thing that doesn't work.
For example: this sequence of actions doesn't work. I found out that it's because of ⌘.
In such cases I create a named trigger out of it and as expected it works. The named trigger does nothing different from the shortcut (⌘.) that doesn't work.
mh that really shouldn't make a difference. The only thing a named trigger might cause is a slight delay (but you already have some delays in there - possibly change the first once to an async one) .
I'll check whether I can reproduce this!
I already have that, both delays in both variants. Unfortunately, that doesn't help. But the named trigger always helps.
could you copy & paste the whole action sequence here? (best select the trigger, cmd+c then cmd+v here). In which app are you using this one?
With pleasure. But ... I know what the solution is ... it was just a question ... you don't have to pursue it, it's probably just me.
