Ah, I managed to achieve what I wanted in the Mute widget → Volume slider direction using code from here . However, I still cannot get the slider to execute my AppleScript (or any AppleScript) in order to update the Mute widget.

Yeah the same for me, I have made a feature request on that point. See here:

Volume widget does not run the action button

Hi, You can assign an action to the volume widget but this action is never run. Would it be possible to run it? (I guess the best is after that you have finished to slide it). Thanks, Olivier PS: that action does not trigger on version 2.503 on my macbook pro 15 inc with touchbar

(do not hesitate to vote for such request to convince @fifafu that this is a nice feature to add (or a bug to solve)
