Moved preset to new account, but now tapping does nothing

Exported master preset from old account and imported to new. All my app triggers and actions are there, but my Magic Trackpad 2 no longer responds to any taps. Now I have to press the pad down until it clicks.

What setting changed?

BTW, what are the words in BTT lingo for the light tap vs. the full press when the trackpad clicks?

most likely you haven’t activated tapping in System Preferences-> Trackpad

That was it. I'd forgotten there were things to set in a new account other than the BTT preferences.
