I do use external screen, and when I connect it, MacBooks internal screen resolution changed for few seconds.
After this I was unable to select text, when I tried to hold trackpad and drag it to the bottom, the pointer jumped to the top. It was looks like it is limited to resolution of my temporary screen state when external display was connected.
