# Mouse clicks stopped working

Mouse clicks stopped working. I can't use my computer while BTT is running, Mouse suddenly stops working as normal. I tried rebooting, restarting and updating the app. Nothing works. Can only operate my machine while BTT is not running. Tried deleting mouse triggers, as well as every other trigger. Nothing works.

this can only happen if you have a leftclick trigger configured in BTT that is configured without modifiers or conditions. If you can still open, check the recently used section in BTT

You can activate BTT's safe mode via this terminal command while btt is quit, that will allow you to control the UI properly again (make sure to run the same command with NO after deleting / disabling the problematic trigger)

defaults write com.hegenberg.BetterTouchTool BTTSafeModeEnabled YES
