Describe the bug
A clear and concise description of what the bug is. Any bug reports that contain insults against me or my software will be deleted without warning (unfortunately this has become necessary to mention here).

Text input areas in macOS generally will stall and completely drop keystrokes. When BTT is not running, this issue does not occur at all.

Additional information (e.g. crash logs, related issues, etc.):

I have installed and am currently using BTT alpha 5.325, and it exhibits similar issues.

in a first step best check whether any process in activity monitor is using a lot of CPU (>=100%). That is the most common issue that can cause dropped events.

Also try to think of any keyboard/mouse/window management related apps you might have installed that could conflict with BTT.

If you have the experimental dropbox/icloud sync enabled in the settings, disable it.

Nothing is using >= 100% CPU. Google Drive seems to hover around 25% often, but that's the closest.

I do use Keyboard Maestro, which does monitor the keyboard. However, I first tried quitting it to get the problem to go away, and it did not.

I do have experimental sync enabled, so I will disable that and report back later.

So far so good. Performance has been fine.
