Max Width in addition to Fixed Width?

Hey Andreas,

I'd love to see a "max width" option implemented in addition to the fixed width.

Some of the song names and calendar events I have get pretty big, so I'd like to limit that length, without having it stay the max width when there's less content to display.

I have looked into changing the character number, but that just cuts it off, doesn't even add an elipses. I would be super happy with the addition of an ellipses on the end of text longer than the max characters too though!
