Magic Mouse functions don't work on MBP when waking from sleep w/ external monitor

2017 15" MBP (2.9GHZ Core i7, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD) running Mac OS Catalina 10.15.6
Magic Mouse
32" 4K Samsung monitor (connected via Anker USB C hub and HDMI cable)
BTT version 3.401

Sometimes when I wake my laptop from sleep when connected to the external monitor, BTT Magic Mouse functions do not work. Cannot intentionally replicate the issue -- happens randomly.

Quitting/restarting BTT does not resolve issue. I have to restart my computer to get BTT to function properly with the Magic Mouse again.

Same situation for me. Also, during work ex. middle click stop working occasionally.
